Camping

One of the reasons we chose the Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch for Mad Gravel is because of the great camping opportunities and other family activities. Camping will be available on Friday thru Sunday nights on the PV grounds. All camping areas will be a short distance from MG Headquarters and the Dining Hall which is where registration, vendor info and the start/finish area is.

  • Peaceful Valley does not have full hook-up sites and all camping is considered primitive.
  • There are full restrooms and showers very close to all campsites.
  • The Boy Scouts have asked that we do not allow dogs since scouting activities start the next weekend.
  • Cost is $20 per night and is payable (in cash please) when you check in.
  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 5:30 AM
  • Plenty of space is available for tents (or camping vehicle with tent)
  • Trash will be available at various places near the dining hall.
  • Open fires are not allowed.
  • Room for large RV’s and trailers.
