COLORADO’S PREMIER GRAVEL CIRCUIT RACE

Deets:

This year we decided to try something different. With so much great terrain within the boundaries of the McNeil Peaceful Valley Ranch, we thought we would add a challenging gravel circuit race. Made of mostly gravel road and double track, there will be one small section of smooth single track just to keep things interesting. Start and Finish will be in front of the dining hall and riders will race multiple laps depending on the discipline you choose. This year, we will have 4 categories. CAT A, CAT B, CAT C and Juniors (18 and under). Racers will enjoy a great 7 mile course!

CAT A – 4 Laps

CAT B – 3 Laps

CAT C – 2 Laps

JUNIORS – 2 Laps

If we end up getting a large turnout, we will add more categories.

The purpose of MG Circuit is to give yourself a bit of a warmup and shake the legs out before the big event the next day. Or, just to come out and have fun doing something you don’t typically see at a gravel race.

Races will start at 10:30 on Saturday May 28. More details to follow.

The course will be marked at all critical intersections. It is the rider’s responsibility to study the course and have directional backup. We will have a medical team on course in various areas and roaming. As always 911 is your friend. Marshals will have radios as well. Good communication wins the day.

Spectating: The main patio is a great place to watch the start and finish. If you choose to cheer on the course, there are multiple areas within walking distance of the main area.
